Let's see... not too much has happened since I last posted. We are planning our next trip, mostly by working and saving up for gas/food/showers. Sean picked up a temporary job working in the factory until DePauw starts back up, which thankfully ends tomorrow and I got a pay raise and more hours at work. So basically, work work work, sleep, work and so on, but you have to work if you want to have fun :)
We still aren't sure if we want to do a long road trip ending with work in Montana, California or Tennessee. But we've narrowed it down that far and we will be at least visiting all of these places within the next year. Hoping to go down the East Coast at least partially before heading back to the West.
On Saturday Sean is leaving for a man trip to Dry Tortugas with our friend Jesse. He's really excited, I'm excited too... but also a little jealous due to the possibility of meeting sea turtles. But I am excited to get some alone time to wander semi-locally starting with a trip up to Northern Indiana. I also have a fun project to work on while he's gone ;)
I'm sure we'll both have plenty to post about when the week is over.
Until then, lots of peace, love and warming thoughts to you!

We were very fortunate and excited to travel on our honeymoon to Puerto Rico. We spent 8 days there and took advantage of everything we could in that short amount of time, Sean was an excellent trip planner. Instead of telling you every detail, I'll just highlight some of our favorite parts in photos =)

Chicago bound? Well, sorta... for a little while.
Hello out there!! We're still alive and well, though with almost six months of silence I wouldn't doubt if you began to wonder. A lot has happened in a short amount of time, but I'll do my best to bring us up to the present.
After New Mexico we did make it to Amarillo, Texas for the night and then the next day found ourselves at my grandparent and dad's house in Wilburton, Oklahoma. We had a fun time catching up with them and exploring Robber's Cave for the short time we were there.
We drove nonstop for Indiana after that, filled up with excitement to see our family and friends. It was fun to catch up and relax for the week as we anticipated our big move to Chicago at the beginning of November. Actually Chicago ended pretty quickly as work is very hard to find, not surprisingly, so by the first of December we found ourselves back in Indiana a little heartbroken/disappointed... we are still reassuring ourselves that it was a good decision.
When we first came home we both signed on with a temp agency to work in a factory that makes Subaru parts. I was making the plastic wall parts that go around the lights in the trunk and Sean was making something that goes into defrosting the windshield. The job was so glamorous that by the end of January we were both doing something else! Now Sean is working at DePauw in media services and I am at Goodwill, we both love our jobs.
Last month we moved into the RV Park north of Greencastle, our van looks so tiny next to all of the campers, but its a fun place to live while we're here and we're both happy with the idea that when we want to leave it will be that much easier without a lease =)
I think we are both ready to get back on the road again, unfortunately traveling isn't the cheapest endeavor in the world and weddings aren't either, we're finding out. So, we're hoping for next April. In the meantime we're loving life, spending as much time with family and friends as we can and getting out and exploring what's around us. Staying busy and always dreaming of what's next.
Enjoy the few pictures we've gathered over the last few months.
Peace, love and so many well wishes to you.
